Grant Assistance Available for Companies Within Northern Tier Regions

Small companies within Bradford, Sullivan, Susquehanna, Tioga or Wyoming County may be eligible to receive special grant funding for their information technology (IT) or workforce training projects with NEPIRC through grant programs being administered by the Northern Tier Regional Planning & Development Commission. The Commission’s Small Business Internet Grant provides reimbursement of up to 50% for companies retaining NEPIRC for Web site development, Web site enhancement or similar Internet-based business solution projects. Similarly, the Small Business Training Grant program offers a 50% subsidy for employee training in Lean Enterprise and Lean Office, New Product Development, Sales Techniques, Six Sigma and a variety of other topics.
