They’ve designed robotic systems small enough to sort materials the size of microchips. And then implemented other systems that automatically handle large heavy parts weighing more than 200 pounds.Today, John Mele, the founder of Jam Works, LLC, travels throughout Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey and parts of Maryland helping manufacturers automate their processes and enabling them to compete in today’s global marketplace.

It was in 2007 that Mele capitalized on his years of training and experience in the U.S. Navy and private industry to launch Jam Works, working part time at first from home while relying on his full time job to earn a living until he could build the business.
