NEPIRC is currently accepting registrations for its 2012 Manufacturing Leadership Institute (MLI) Program – a specially designed leadership certificate program created by the Iacocca Institute at Lehigh University.
During this 12-week program, regional manufacturer executives will expand their knowledge in topical areas such as Leadership, Vision, Organizational Culture, External Intelligence, Supply Chain Management, Strategy Development & Deployment, Strategic Financial Management, Human Capital, Change Management and others by attending day-long sessions hosted by Lehigh University’s top business faculty, experienced consultants and top entrepreneurs.
“We are delighted that our strategic alliances with other organizations, consultants and universities have enabled us to offer this program within our region,” said Eric Joseph Esoda, NEPIRC’s Executive Director. The program was previously only available on the campus of Lehigh University and at a cost that was not always practical for small and mid-sized manufacturers.
Program alumni include companies such as Crayola, Kraft Foods, Lehigh Valley Plastics, Lutron Electronics Corporation, Nestlé Waters, Silberline Manufacturing and approximately 60 other prominent manufacturers. Since 2006, overall program composition has consisted of CEOs (18%), Vice Presidents and CFOs (20%), Strategic Business Unit Directors (14%) and upper-level managers.
Prior MLI attendees continue to positively acknowledge the ways in which it has helped them better lead their organizations and create a more positive culture that eagerly embraces innovation, change and growth.

NEPIRC will launch the program on February 29th, 2012. Participants will meet every Wednesday, with the exception of several project performance weeks and holiday breaks, and will commence in mid-June, 2012.
