The Team Pennsylvania Foundation, PA Department of Community & Economic Development and the Pennsylvania State SHRM Council recently announced they are accepting applications for the 2012 Best Places to Work in Pennsylvania recognition program. Applications are due by June 8th.
The Best Places to Work in Pennsylvania recognition program is an excellent way for regional manufacturers to attract new employees, maintain and improve its positive rapport with its community, customers and existing employees and acknowledge the efforts of its management and supervisory staff. More importantly, however, the application process itself, which consists of an Employee Engagement and Satisfaction Survey, often gives manufacturers insight as to how they can increase employee retention, bolster employee morale, improve corporate policies and, ultimately, increase profits.
The competition acknowledges the innovative and successful workforce practices of 50 companies within the 25-249 employee range and another 50 within the 250+ employee range..
NEPIRC professionals are available to help regional manufacturers apply for this valuable statewide mark of distinction at no cost and can be reached at 570-819-8966 or via email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
