Maureen Mulcahy

Project Manager

Maureen Mulcahy began her Lean journey in April 2004 while she was an Executive Administrative Project Manager at Benco Dental Company, Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.  In this position, Maureen played a key role in successfully developing and deploying Benco’s Lean program. 

In April, 2006, Maureen joined NEPIRC as a Project Manager for Lean Enterprise.  Maureen’s duties include training in Lean Office, Value Stream Mapping and the reVIEW Lean Healthcare program.  She has facilitated Value Stream Mapping events and training for insurance companies, distributors, logistic companies, and service companies for such processes as truck repair; accounting cycle close; merchandise returns; order fulfillment, hiring, and contracting.   In addition, she is experienced in facilitating Kaizen and 6S workplace organization events.   

Maureen earned a Lean Knowledge Certificate from the Society of Manufacturing Engineers in March 2007.  In addition, she completed Value Stream Mapping and Business Process Value Stream Mapping training at the Lean Enterprise Institute, Boston, Ma, in March 2005 and participated in a week long Danaher Business System Transactional Process Improvement Kaizen training event in May, 2005.  In 2003 she successfully completed a six week long Kaizen facilitator training course.  She also completed Lean Office and Lean Product Development Value Stream Mapping training provided by Change Management Associates and Six Sigma Green Belt training.  She holds a bachelor of Business Administration degree from Wilkes University, Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.
