As companies aim to become more competitive/world-class by applying Lean Principles, they are realizing that they need to develop internal lean champions who can support and lead various initiatives and continuous improvement teams. Being able to rely on internal expertise to produce positive results quickly is a major driving force behind the effort to gain lean certification for associates. This program consists of a total of 40 classroom hours that begin with Set-Up Reduction, followed by Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Facilitation Skills for Improvement Event Leaders (2 days), Training Within Industry (TWI) and 3 Roundtable (Exam Review) sessions.
